CVPA faculty

Saxophonist, composer, and educator John Kocur is Assistant Professor of Jazz Studies at George Mason University. He previously taught at Northern Virginia Community College where he directed the NOVA Nighthawks Jazz Ensemble. He serves as a saxophonist with the 257th Army Band of the D.C. National Guard, “the Band of the Nation’s Capital.”

Gay Hanna teaches the Managing Arts in Health Programs.

Russell Santos is a filmmaker, music video editor, director and cinematographer. 

Meghan Blydenburgh is the HR and Payroll Coordinator for CVPA

Megan Webb is the Program and Production Coordinator, CFA, CVPA

Reid May is an audio technician at the Center for the Arts at the College of Visual and Performing Arts.

Will Gautney is the Assistant Master Electrician, College of Visual and Performing Arts at George Mason University

Rebekah Wingert-Jabi is a Peabody award-winning filmmaker and President of Storycatcher Productions. Recently, Rebekah produced and edited "Naila and the Uprising" (2017), which had its US premiere at DOCNYC, European premiere at IDFA and Middle East premiere at the Dubai Film Festival.
