To take part in Commencement and Degree Celebrations, you will need a set of regalia matching your degree level. Information is below on how to purchase or rent regalia for the event.

Get Your Regalia
Starting March 7th, regalia will be available for order online and in person at the George Mason Bookstore at the Fairfax Campus and Mason Square while in stock. Please see your regalia type below for deadlines.
Bachelors and Masters Regalia
Regalia will be available for purchase at the Spring Grad Fair, March 4-6, 10am - 6pm in the Johnson Center's Dewberry Hall.
Starting March 7th, regalia will available for purchase online until April 18th, and in person at the George Mason Bookstore until graduation, while supplies last.

Graduation should be a time of excitement and possibility, not a time to feel burdened by another expense. If you are unable to purchase regalia on your own, apply for the Gowns for Grads program.

Doctoral Regalia
Doctoral candidates can rent or purchase doctoral regalia. It is strongly recommended you go to the Bookstore for measurements.

All rented regalia must be returned to the University Bookstore by May 17, 2025.
