You may be required to submit a standardized test score or exam for your graduate application.

GRE (Graduate Record Examination)
- To submit your scores, please use Institution Code 5827.
- GRE Scores are valid for five years from the test date.
- Test preparation materials are offered through ETS, the GRE testing agency.
GMAT (Graduate Management Admission Test)
- To submit your scores, please use the GMAT score reporting system and request they be sent to Mason.
- GMAT Scores are valid for five years from the test date.
- Scores can be automatically sent to 5 schools within 20 days of taking the exam for no cost. If you need to send scores to additional schools, there is a fee of $20 each.
MAT (Miller Analogies Test)
- To submit your scores, please use Institution Code 1768.

MCAT (Medical College Admission Test)
- The MCAT may be substituted for the GRE general exam for the Personalized Medicine Graduate Certificate or the Master’s in Biology in the College of Science only.
Praxis Test
- To submit your scores, please use Institution Code 5827.
- Praxis scores are required for many programs in the College of Education and Human Development, as well as some in the College of Visual and Performing. For specific requirements in the Commonwealth of Virginia, please visit the state's Praxis page and review the necessary submission information at the College of Education and Human Development (CEHD) website.
