Susan Graziano

As the Senior Director of Development, Susan is the chief fundraising officer for George Mason’s College of Visual and Performing Arts. 

Susan seeks to form strategic philanthropic relationships and partnerships, strengthen advisory boards, and cultivate impactful gifts to support Mason Arts’ mission and vision. She oversees the implementation of the College’s capital campaign by developing fundraising priorities and strategies. With 22+ years at George Mason, Susan has devoted herself to arts- and education-related philanthropy and grants.  Prior to joining CVPA, she served as the International Grant Coordinator in the Office of the Provost at George Mason. Her early career included independent consulting for cultural projects, and serving as Director of the Museum Assessment Program at the American Association of Museums (now American Alliance of Museums), focusing on the development and evaluation of professional standards for museums. She holds a B.A. in Art from Bucknell University, and MA in Arts Management from George Mason University.
