Job Description:

  • Receive inbound and make outbound calls to and from consumers.
  • Negotiate repayment plans for consumers to meet and exceed monthly targets
  • Successfully manage assigned accounts and complete daily, weekly, and monthly work goals
  • Provide clear and concise information to consumers
  • Follow up with consumers as needed
  • Organize and work with confidential files, detailed records, maintain forms, and respond to correspondence.
  • Proficiently use a computer to enter, access and retrieve data.
  • Must pass the FDCPA knowledge test and other testing requirements. (Paid training provided)
  • Communicate with clients, court clerks, process servers, and other businesses as needed.
  • Perform basic office duties, such as: faxing, copying, printing, etc.
  • Must adhere to strict collection policies and procedures.

Job Qualifications:

  • College students are strongly encouraged to apply.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Collections, Recovery or Sales experience (call center experience is a plus)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Bilingual or Spanish speaking is highly desired.
  • Reliable transportation, with valid driver’s license and vehicle insurance.
  • Regular attendance and punctuality expected.
  • Attention to details, organizational skills, time management, and critical thinking are necessary.
  • Comfortable making phone calls, operating a computer and other office equipment
  • Proficient in using data bases, spreadsheets, forms, and email (MS Office and Outlook experience preferred).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and handling of complex situations.
  • Ability to work well under deadlines, stressful situations,
  • Maintain composure with consumers in all situations
  • Candidate should be self-motivated but able to work in a team setting when necessary.
