ORBIS America, Inc. is looking for a Marketing Intern to join our team for the summer. The marketing internship will consist of designing digital and printed content, assisting with social media management, learning basic HubSpot functions, and assisting with website SEO. In this role, you will collaborate with the Assistant Manager, Marketing and Sales on overall strategy and implementation. The intern will receive valuable experience and learn hands-on marketing techniques that will be useful throughout their career.
Start Date: May 23rd
End Date: August 12th
The above dates are just guidelines and can be adjusted based on mutual suitability.
This position is located in Vienna, VA (Tysons Corner).
Responsibilities:
- Report directly to and support the Assistant Manager, Marketing and Sales
- Develop work consistent with ORBIS America, Inc. established brand standards
- Assist with social media management: content creation and copywriting
- Provide support with event planning, execution, and reporting
- Assist with current SEO project
- Design print material (brochures, flyers, one-pagers, etc.)
- Connect and maintain relationships with universities
- Stay on top of current industry trends and news
- Participate in weekly marketing meetings
- Other responsibilities as needed
Qualifications:
- Pursuing Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Design, or related field
- Ability to work a minimum of 25 hours a week
- Familiarity with Canva and Adobe a plus
- Strong written communication skills and attention to detail
- Excellent organizational skills
- Works well independently, and on a team
- Hungry to learn and try new things
Compensation:
$12-20/hour, depending on candidate’s experience, with a minimum of 25 hours per week
